Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years’ accounting or financial related work and/or related military experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices and SOX internal control requirements
- Strong understanding of business practices
- Demonstrated success in developing and leading people to positive business outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to handle and resolve interpersonal conflict
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
- Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time and work flexible hours
- Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred:
- CPA and/or CMA designation
- Experience with SEC Reporting and SOX Compliance
- Management experience
- Experience with JD Edwards or e-Emphasys
- Experience with IT and building systems and processes
- Knowledge and experience with inventory accounting
